Data analytics is central to Nauvoo Solutions’ work. Sophia routinely wrangles large, disparate datasets from utilities, regional planning bodies, and public sources to produce defensible, audit-ready analytical outputs and modeling inputs.

Recently, Nauvoo Solutions worked with the Northwest Power and Conservation Council to developed an R-based tool to compile, validate, and quality-check energy efficiency savings data submitted by multiple reporting entities across the region. This work required advanced data management, consistency auditing, aggregation logic, and reproducible workflows to ensure transparency and accuracy.

Beyond reporting analytics, Sophia has developed statistical and economic models in R and Excel to support conservation and distributed solar potential assessments work.  This has included tools for analyzing and summarizing Residential Building Stock Assessment data and characterizing housing and demographic trends using Census and market research datasets.
